Wondering which netbook to get?
I want to buy a netbook (one of those new mini-notebook computers) and was wondering what are all your suggestions?
I’ve been looking at the:
ASUS Eee PC: http://www.pmptoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/asus-eee-pc-8gb.jpg
ACER Aspire One: http://www.geekz1.com/images//news/AcerAspireOne.jpg
and Hewlett-Packard 2133: http://regmedia.co.uk/2008/04/08/hp_2133_3.png
Also, I want one with Windows. No Linux/other stuff (which kind of rules out the Asus Eee PC)…
Anyone know of any others I should check out? Anyone own any of the above (if so, how is it?)?
Thanks.

Skip the HP MiniNote 2133. It uses a slow-poke Via processor and I think they use Vista, which will run slow with such a processor.
The Aspire One seems OK. I like the MSI Wind, but they ticked me off by raising the price of the model with the 6-cell battery. Another contender to look at is the Lenovo S10. News about it just came out within the past week and it seems pretty similar to the Wind, but at a lower cost. You might want to wait to see what Dell comes out with. They will be coming out with the Dell E (or Inspiron Mini, it keeps changing names) this fall.
I have an Eee 701 4G that I installed Windows on. I liked it a lot more after I installed Windows. My two complaints are the small keyboard size and the small 800×480 resolution screen. A 7" laptop is usable, but a little uncomfortable. A 10" laptop would be nicer. The MSI Wind and Lenovo S10 are 10" laptops.
