Does buying wholesale lots off of eBay really make a profit?

Eventually Im going to buy a lot of womens clothing and see how much profit, if any, that i can make. Has anyone else done this?

If there were indeed any real profit in it, don’t you think the person selling the merchandise would be making that profit themselves instead of selling the stuff for others to make the profit instead. In the end, usually the only profit to be had is in dumping the stuff on others who think they can somehow sell the stuff for profit.
