Which is the better computer for college?
I have a Sony Vaio (VGN NS105N) laptop with 15" screen. No built in webcam. Business model? Kind of heavy, not exactly travel size.
I have the option of switching to a smaller HP Notebook (10" screen?) with built in cam and SD card and memory card slots but no CD drive. Nice and light.
Basically I want to know which is going to be the most useful and practical for college. Realistically, how much am i going to need to carry it around, what features will i end up using most? If you had to choose one, knowing what you know about college/computers, which would you choose?

If you plan on using your computer to type your notes then you will want the lighter one to carry around. If you plan on using a plan old notebook and just need a laptop for papers and research. Then just stick with what you have.
