will a USB Male A to 3 RCA AV A/V TV adapter Cord Cable let me connect my ps3/xbox to my computer monitor?

i say this cord on ebay. in one end it had a usb end on it and on the other it had the type of thing you would put your red white and yellow cables from your gaming console or dvd player ect. in to. will that enable me to play ps3 games on my computer? or do i need a special monitor?

If that is an USB external tuner/capture card, yes you can. But it only tunes in low-definition so your PS3 will look like crap when you try to play it on your monitor through that capture card.

If your monitor has an HDMI port, just connect it directly to your PS3 using an HDMI cable.
