Mini-note and Laptot Computers
Notebooks are starting to look like netbooks and netbooks are taking on the characteristics of notebooks. Will they meet in the middle and become essentially the same portable computer form factor?
Some will say that netbooks are just mini-notebooks, and actually there are other names floating around like "mini-notes" or "laptots". Let’s hope there are some rugged laptots or rugged mini-notes on the drawing boards.
The Ruggednetbooks Website like the mini computers, becuase they make great backup machines and they do meet basic computing needs. The minis are great for travel, when all you need to do is check for email and surf the Internet. The greatest attribute is the price tag, although a lower cost does mean lower computing power.
We don’t necessarily agree with the order of the picks, but here is how PC World Canada recently ranked their top 10 list of netbooks on the market.

Shopping for a Mini Notebook/Netbook/Slaptop

I think I will get a Samsung NC10, it looks really great and has good specs. Or does anybody know a notebook with similar specs?
