Desktop Computer
Can I use a server motherboard in a desktop computer?

Well, you can? I searched google this several times, but all that appears is information on the use desktop motherboard for a server. server motherboard can take a lot more RAM, and even use multiple processors. Is there any reason why a server motherboard and processor would not work on a desktop computer? Would you be able to use a server motherboard in a low-end computer desktop multi-tasking capabilities really good?

can use a server process module for a desktop computer. Contrary to what the first poster said: There will be a slow computer. Just make sure that your operating system recognizes all the RAM you are adding. For example, Vista 32 bit only recognize 4 gigabytes of RAM, if you reach the 64-bit, then 128GB will be recognized: the Ultimate, Enterprise and Business SKUs 16GB: Home Premium 8GB: Home Basic I'm not positive in the last questions, but I think the maximum size that it will support processor is eight.
