I want to get my 6-year-old son a laptop he can go to educational sites to play games, upload his fisher price camera photos, talk to his granny in texas, journal, do homework and practice typing. I can’t stand super slow computers and I would imagine neither can a 6-year-old. I would install fun learning software on it too, itunes, mavis beacon etc, etc.
I want a good one, but not insanely priced. I am looking at a few in the hi-mid 0 price; how good are they and are there any better ones you would recommend? THANKS:

1.)Toshiba Mini NB205-N312/BL 10.1-Inch Royal Blue Netbook – 9 Hour Battery Life
2.) Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition Netbook PC with Intel Atom Processor & Windows XP
3.)MSI U123-003US 10.2 Blue Netbook – 9.5 Hour Battery Life
OKAY, yeah, I’m way out of this technology game, but WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE B/W A NETBOOK AND LAPTOP? Thanks!
