Should I convert my movie files (VOB) or buy/upgrade another player for my mini notebook?
I have just revently purchased an ASUS N10. It will be used on trips and when I go to work and stuff for media/entertainment purposes only. On my desktop computer at home I am currently using Cyberlink’s PowerDVD 9 Ultra version. I am using DVD Next Copy Ultimate to convert my DVD’s (along with Machinist2 running in the back ground to decrypt). Everything is turned in to a set of VOB files and split up. PowerDVD 9 has no issues with this and plays everything beautifully……………on my desk top. On the little Asus N10 it does not work due to PowerDVD having a lowest resolution of 1024X768 and the Asus having a native of 1024×600. So should I convert my files, use something other than DVD Next Copy or what. Looking for some advice please.
DC: It is not as simple as just adjusting resolution…………1024×600 is the highest I can achieve with this small of a display………10".
