I’m looking to buy a small, lightweight notebook this coming weekend (since it’ll be tax-free weekend here) because my Acer is about to die. I’m being very picky about my new computer. I want something that has a 13-14 inch display, is very light weight (not more than 4 or 4.2 pounds) and has a decent battery life. I will not buy another Acer. Ever. So please don’t recommend one! I’ve looked at HP, Asus, MSI, Toshiba, Sony, etc. Does anyone know which small laptops would be the best? What do you have? I’m not using it for gaming; mostly just for pictures and iTunes and surfing the web. I’m looking for something affordable (no MACs please!) and something that doesn’t need to be shipped out of the U.S. to be repaired. Also, something that comes with a CD player would be great, but if that’s not possible I can get an external drive for that. Thanks!! :)
I’d rather it be smaller than bigger (Over 14.1 is too big!) and it will NOT be used for gaming.
I ended up getting the HP DV4. It’s really nice so far and has all the specs I wanted. Thanks for your input though!
