Laptops under 300?
I know laptops are like 500 and to get a good one, you have to pay that much. i am dying for one and my mom doesn’t have money right now to get me one. i asked my dad and he said if one was 300 he would get it but 500 and 700 is way too much. My mom would buy one off of ebay but she doesn’t trust people to sell a laptop that they are syaing is in good condition. Does anyone know where i can get a good working laptop for a cheap price??
thankyou!!!!!! and i might get the asus eee but the memory is very low .
i dont really make money so it would take about 2 years for 400 dollars and i need on for 300 and please no ebay and i maight try craigslist though?

A laptop under 300 will be a used or refurbished (was broken before it was even SHIPPED–then they fixed it using spare parts). You’re better off waiting and getting something decent vs. purchasing a cheap one now that will break down two months later.
Save your money- Wait to get a 700 – 1000 one. Yes it will make you wait longer but the thing is, if you get a 300 one now… sure it’ll last… 6-12 months..but then you will run outa memory… so then you will have to buy more attachments and more and more untill eventually it be just cheaper to get the 1000 one. I have a 1,200 one.. Runs awsome. And long as I keep good care will never have to replace. I suggest just waiting. It’s the smartest thing to do.
my advice would be to take a look at the asus wind.
it packs a 1.6 ghz processor, 2gb of ram, and a 80gb 2.5 inch HDD, along with a 10 inch screen.
a linux version is available for 400, xp version is 500.
or take a look at the sellout woot (go to yahoo shopping and click deal of the day powered by woot, its a 500 dollar toshiba)
It’s easy. Have one made with a really strong (fast) processor but make sure that you can upgrade memory so that the computer will be cheap and will be with you for a while.
Buy whatever is best for your needs do not buy too much computer for your needs.
