Laptop Working
how to format laptop hard drive without a working laptop? have working desktop though?

my laptop has issues and isnt working and i need to format my laptops hard drive… is there any way i can do this from a desktop possibly? any way without having a working laptop? thanks for any help really need to get it formatted
It doesnt have standard HDD plugs it slides in.. any other ideas?

definitely, you can do it on your desktop.

open up the case and put the laptop drive in, connect the power cable and the data cable (SATA or IDE). you might have a buy a data cable if you dont have 1 already, but the power cable should already be there on the power supply. then turn on the desktop, go to device manager and format your hard drive from there.
