can i connect internet with 3g by this netbook?
as long as you don’t try to run 720p h.264 video, it runs pretty okay.
CoreAVC will help immensely with video speed on any Atom N270 netbook.
If video playback is very important to you, you may want to wait for the nVidia ION netbooks or the dual-core Atoms coming later this year.
They include a CD if you are like me and have an external CD Drive. It is actually really convenient.
Also, it is illegal for them to send Microsoft OS’s on any other media, so USB drives are out of the question.
Enable BootBooster in BIOS to shave a few seconds off boot time.
When you remove the power adapter, the Eee underclocks itself to save battery life. To fix video (without having to install any extra utilities), just set SuperHybridEngine to full performance and set your power scheme to Always on.
To stop SpeedStep altogether, go to BIOS and enable the option called “Max CPUID Limit” or something like that. Then when you set to Always on, it will always run at 1.6GHz.
yep i know i left it at a friends house and didnt have it that day :(
it’s called a tripod, please use it. other than that, good review!
Netbook :D
Should I get the 900HA or the 904HA?
yes it can.
PLEASE ANSWER!!
does this netbook ay netflix watch instantly???
R U sure?
Put the Hybrid Engeniering in a Power mode to watch the video when AC is out.
Maybe you are using Autosaving mode rightnow.
looks like an alrite notebook
Nah ive tried in power and super when ac is out to watch 720p vids and it doesnt work. Mabe when they release a higher powered battery for it it will run better. Thanks
No problem, pay it forward. Also could u please do a test run with the battery life on Max Performance? Cheers ~tk
thanks! it worked great!
I know what “haustorio” is trying to say. See Asus laptops come underclocked when the ac adaptor is unpluged. Thats how they clam such a long battery life. 1.6ghz will automatically clock down to 800mhz and with EeePc the CPU helps GraphicCard. Now what I recommend is downloading NHC = Notebook Hardware Controller. Set the CPU to MAX performace so the CPU stays at 1.6Mhz when unplugged. Down side is this will KILL ur Battery life to 2hrs maybe less. Let me know how it goes, just trying 2 help~tk
Is it possible to buy an extra battery and switch them without pulling the entire case apart?
