Do all samsung cell phones have a horrible battery life?
I have always used Samsung phones and it seems like each of them last me about 60% of the day and then need to be recharge ed. I use my phone to make phone calls of course but mainly after my minutes are free. I must admit I do text often and use my phone as a mobile computer daily but these newer phones should be able to last no matter how much I use it right?

Samsung is not as good as Song Ericsson or Nokia
Samsung older phones like the D500, X640, E330 used to have good battery life but since when they realised phones like the D900 there battery life in a word atrocious.I had a D900 for a couple weeks back in 2007 and it simply had the worse battery life I ever come across in a phone(hence why I got rid of it so quick). Phone current out from samsung like the omnia, pixon, Innov8 have poor battery life in my opinion and I would avoid a samsung phone again if you want a good strong battery life phone. I find the manufacture that produce the longest lasting battery life phones are Sony Ericsson from experience or some Nokia (more of the simple phone produce by Nokia,) have good battery life too.
