Can anyone get a new battery from Dell without returning the defective one?

I looked the part number of the battery on page Dell website and said that the request that has already occurred. But I did not. Dell is going to send the new battery without even receiving a defective part?

Yes, they are sending to the new, first, with a package to return to the old. Dells not work without batteries, even on AC power.
