It is available in both linux and XP versions and can be configured with either a 80GB hard drive or a 4GB solid state drive. The optional upgrade of a 6 cell battery will extend battery life.

ASUS Eee PC 900

This netbook is one lightweight mini laptop that is also easy on the wallet. This netbook is typically sold for $369 at many online stores. It is popular with users and has also earned high marks from computer review magazines. This netbook model is really the downsized version of regular computers, so expect ease-of-use without any keys off-place, which you can find on some netbook models. An ASUS Eee PC 900 with GB RAM and 16 GB Solid State Drive (on Linux OS) sells for $369 on Amazon.
