I have a new laptop i need serious help with this?

Okay so i have a brandnew acer laptop. I just got i the other day…and i tried to go into my windows office……and it stated something about a product key…so i typed in the product key and it said that it was incorrect….plz verify something…but this product key comes off the bottom of the laptop and the darn thing is saying that its incorrect…someone please help….its windows office 2007….idk whats wrng and the code came off the bottom of the laptop…wtf plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the product key on the bottom of your computer is for windows
you have a trial version of office and need to buy a key from microsoft if you want to keep it
