With Notebooks and laptops how easy is it to change parts out?
I was thinking about going to alienware but was wondering in the future If I could upgrade some parts such as the cpu or video card how easy would it be and if they make seperat e parts at all?
Its one thing to upgrade ram, but I’ve never heard of anyone upgrading video cards. It may be possible, but the processor would be very difficult. Your looking at taking every piece apart to do those two tasks. Alien wares aren’t cheap, and is it really worth the risk in destroying your laptop?
If your looking for a gaming laptop, Asus has one with an nvidia 9800 gt with 512 mb of video ram. Plus 4 gb of regular ram, and a 7200 RPM hard drive with 320 gb. Sounds like a mouthful, but its actually cheap, and you can buy it at best buy. Its 899
